Our Mission
The mission of Somali Community Services of Seattle is to empower refugees and immigrants by providing culturally appropriate programs that support successful integration, long-term stability, and economic independence.
We are committed to helping every family navigate their journey with dignity—through housing assistance, education programs, youth mentorship, senior support, and community advocacy.
Our vision is to build a strong, united, and empowered community where every individual and family has the opportunity to thrive with dignity, hope, and equal access to support and opportunities. Since 1995, we have remained dedicated to uplifting immigrants, refugees, youth, seniors, and low-income families by creating pathways to education, stability, leadership, and success.
We envision a future where communities are connected, cultures are respected, and every person feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. Through compassion, collaboration, and service, we strive to break barriers, inspire positive change, and create lasting opportunities for generations to come.
